The Stemlex weight grader from Ait, is the first machine performing a stem cut of the broccoli and sorting by weight with a single feeding of the line, and any need of human interaction between the cut and the grading
The line is prepared for processing broccoli by cutting the stem, weighing with load cells, and classifying depending on its weight.
A bin tipper unloads the product in an inspection conveyor. Then, 2 workers pick up the product and put it in the plates, introducing the stem in the hole in the middle.
The height of the cut, and thus the length of the stem is fully adjustable.
The machine incorporates 4 ejection points, fully programable throughout touchable screen.
This line was designed according to EHEDG principles (European Hygienic Engineering Design Group) and complies with all health, cleanliness, and safety standards. It is manufactured in our Tudela (España) workshop.
