Our patented system makes the POLUX cabbage cutter the only one of its kind to create an automatically customised cut for each head of cabbage. A sensor determines the size of each head of cabbage entering the machine and, depending on the size, applies a different cut according to the programmed parameters.
This process is fully automated, and does away with having to process by different size. This ensures maximum efficiency without the need to sort produce, or to change and/or adjust tools. The POLUX cabbage decorer achieves maximum efficiency and the best performance available in the market.
It also includes an optional feature of cutting the cabbage into 2, 4 or 8 segments after decoring.
The POLUX cabbage decoring machine allows you to cut large amounts, increasing your performance. It lowers production costs and does away with the need for preliminary sorting by size, allowing you to process any size heads of cabbage with our intelligent cutting system.
Our machine was designed according to EHEDG principles (European Hygienic Engineering Design Group) and complies with all health, cleanliness and safety standards. It is fully manufactured in AISI 304 stainless steel in our factory located in Tudela, Navarre, Spain.
