Description
The Silex broccoli floretting machine by Ait is the first of its kind in the world with intelligent cutting. This exclusive system powered by Vision together with an Artificial Intelligence Algorithm determines the exact diameter of each broccoli head, based on which it makes a customised cut to each head, which increases the yield and efficiency obtained in the cutting process while minimising waste, and allows a better control of the size of the final product.
Thus, each head is cut in the right position in which better performance is achieved, ensuring maximum efficiency and control over the final product.
At the same time, it avoids other process tasks such as pre-calibration of the raw material by size.
The size reading and customised cutting of each head of broccoli is fully automatic.
Thanks to our new patented intelligent cutting system, the broccoli cutting machines of our SILEX, MIXTA, or MATRIX family are the only ones able to perform an automatically customised cut for each head of broccoli.
The Ait Silex machine reduces labour requirements by allowing the processing of large quantities of product with a reduced cut, while guaranteeing robustness, efficiency and reliability.
