Therefore, we must consider how to alleviate the effects of our self-destructive “use and discard” habit.
This is where the so popular “Industry 4.0” concept comes into play, a somewhat futuristic and dystopian reality that most of the population does not fully grasp. Let’s briefly explain what we should consider as Industry 4.0:
In other words, the goal of Industry 4.0 is the interconnection of all devices involved in the manufacturing process. This interconnectivity process also includes the extraction and analysis of all kinds of data present in these processes, which greatly helps improve the performance and productivity of manufacturing chains. Ultimately, having better control, analysis, and management of data significantly facilitates real-time decision-making, resulting in better utilization of available resources such as raw materials, labour force, and energy resources needed for the process.

Thanks to this advancement, we eliminate the need for the on-site presence of such technicians to analyze incidents, streamlining the maintenance and repair process of the machinery.
